About Chef George & Connie
Husband and wife duo, George and Connie, have known each other since the third grade, both from the same tiny town in Taiwan. After dating in college and getting married, they moved to the US and took jobs in restaurants. Connie was a hostess while George started off as a dishwasher.
Fast forward 30+ years, a Masters in Hospitality from the University of Las Vegas, Certification as an Executive Chef (CEC®) and four restaurants later, Chef George has continued his passion for constantly studying new recipes, creating new dishes and sharing his love of food with others. Connie is the production master behind George’s talent. The Yelp / Google / OpenTable / TripAdvisor reviews about Wave Bistro (2007 - 2022) speak for themselves: Connie is the type of person who remembers what your favorite foods are, the newest diet you’re following, who your cousin is dating, and makes sure that your kitchen is immaculate upon leaving.
